The bullfighting ring or 'Plaza de Toros' in Alicante, as in most Spanish cities, is an important landmark and meeting point. Built in 1847 and renovated in 1888 the bullring now houses it's own museum. Well worth a look at to discover the history, costumes and literature surrounding the traditional Spanish sport of bullfighting.
